So, here I am, working on my home, possibly just like you, and I'd like to share my insights into the various issues, projects, products, and stories that come from home repair - a lonely passion at times, because very few people really understand the work (and rework) that goes into making something, well... basically look normal. If nobody reads this, that's cool too, it's nice to get this stuff out of my brain.
I work as a Chemist, mainly making caulks (we call them sealants in the industry), and coatings for residential and log home industry. I field a lot of technical calls at work, talk to customers - both contractors and average folks just like you and me, trying to help them solve various problems.
My disclaimer - the information and opinions I provide are purely opinions, and although I will shamelessly promote my companies products at times, I won't knowingly give out false information, and the information I provide about products I will try to keep as unbiased as possible. We are adults, you are responsible for your own life, and don't blame me for any issues you might have with the products and techniques I talk about. Thanks for reading!
